This was just a fun story. Debra bought me (and Sharli) some balloons the day after Sharli was born, so it was March 4th.
Well here's a picture of them on March 11th. Because I had nothing in the house for Sharli to look at while she was awake, I put them beside her while she was in her bouncy chair. I kept them along time. 
Here's a picture of them on April 22nd, almost 2 months after their purchase. The smiley face one is still floating but the others are not! So we decided to experiment.
We cut it loose and this is how far it floated up. Then we experimented further...
We cut a mere 1/2 an inch of the bottom and....
Up it went! It was like a brand new balloon. We were tempted to keep it until it died but then thought again. Oh well. It was just a fun memory.
