When Sharli finally got to come home, we were so happy. I was really worried because my mom wasn't arriving until the next day but then again, it was really nice to be home with just our little family.
Preston got to bring her in our house for the first time. I wasn't supposed to lift anything so I got to take the picture with Preston's camera. That's why it is so blurry.
We then set her on the floor (where else were we to put her?) and took another picture of her cuteness.
Then Preston put her on the table so I could be in a picture with her. I was still very sore so that was as far as I could bend over.
The next day I realized that we didn't have a picture with her eyes open. So in one of her few waking moments, I got a good one. It amazed me how small she could purse her lips. They're skinnier than her nose!
Then that night, Saturday night, my mom arrived and told me I should give her a bath. As she still had her little umbilicle cord, I couldn't immerse her in water so she got a sponge bath. She really enjoyed it, can't you tell?
After she was done, Preston decided that he got to comfort her, which he did, and then took a picture of himself. Preston is famous for his self-portaits and is really good at centering them.
